The Best Advice You Need to Follow For Medical Device Development

Business owners and marketers in all industries are constantly trying to get ahead of the latest trend or social platform or trying to reach that one person that can propel their product. But really, the answer to business success is far simpler than you might think.

In fact, the best marketing advice for anyone is unequivocally:
Ha’ awi.

What does this mean?
Give.

Ha' awi - Give - Imua Services

Recently, marketing expert and leader of the 311,000 member Medical Devices Group on LinkedIn, Joe Hage came on Inspired by Imua to share best practices for medical device development professionals.

And it struck me just how consistently his advice hinged around ‘giving.’ It didn’t really matter what question I asked:

Me: “What can people do to expose their idea to get exposure to their idea or product?”
Joe: “Ask what you can do for them.”

Me: “What advice can you give someone when they are looking to grow their network?”

Joe: “What can you do for them?”

Me: “What mistakes should be avoided when raising funds for a medical device launch?”

Joe: “Don’t approach them cold. Help people easily discover how they can feel good about introducing you to people who can help.”

Me: “What strategies can medical device developers use to map out their sales launch?”

Joe: “Tell a story but make sure that it educates your audience on why you are different than others in the market.”

Even Joe’s face to face networking event is about ha’ awi. The 10x Medical Device Conference is limited to 200 participants and the clear focus is networking and forging relationships. This isn’t a thousand-business card event. It’s about making friends, helping colleagues, and building a network that yields mutual benefits for years to come.

Join me at the 10x Medical Device Conference in San Diego from May 2nd to the 4th and take your network to the next level. I’ll be there doing some live interviews and continuing to grow the relationships I formed last year. Stop by and say hello and maybe you can appear on the Inspired by IMUA podcast too!

In the spirit of ha’ awi, let me give you $30 off your ticket by visiting Joe’s registration page and using the code below…
